Notes:
A Thai band called Barbies opened. Impatient fans chanted Green Day's name throughout their set. They started throwing chairs, water bottles and shoes. When Barbies' set ended, a staff member announced that the MBK Hall was well over capacity and that fans shouldn't jump because the floor might cave in. The MBK Hall was located in a mall - which is still there today - and it seemed that might have been why the shops below shut early. Of course, once Green Day took the stage, the fans did jump. They felt the floor sagging beneath their feet. Fights broke out and people hit each other with chairs. The floor never actually gave way, but someone without a ticket did hit a security guard with a beer bottle until his skull cracked, then broke the door down. Some fans said it was the best show they'd ever seen. Some said it was the worst. However, almost everyone in MBK Hall that day will agree that they wondered if they were going to die that night.
