@Cris. Of course! It looked bad but seems like it went well after all. ? I'm not a festival person either. The only reason I went to this is because it's where I live and with Stockholm it's pretty close by/easy to travel to so it wasn't too expensive. If you ever come to Oslo feel free to ask if you want tips on what to see. ? Also, I just remembered - Billie Joe said Happy Pride month before Bobby Sox. ? Billie Joe must be having it out for Texas.. The women I have seen from Texas are gorgeous.  Editing this to not make too many posts: I really liked this review (it's in Norwegian), but if any of the fellow Scandinavians haven't seen it. ? https://www.nrk.no/p3/anmeldelse_-green-day-pa-tons-of-rock-1.17461803

I don't think the crowd was lame at all. If you watch videos the show it looked like people were having a good time. Those three songs - including a B-side you cannot expect casual festivalgoers to know.  It was awesome! I didn't expect it at all. It looked like they all had a lot of fun. I see that there's some international media writting about it as well which is fun. Frank Carter sounds a lot like Johnny Rotten. My face was like this ? when they first came on. @Göta what was your reaction to their set? ? Edit: I'm not really into festivals and would go to a headliner show any day, but I actually liked this one. If some good bands get booked I'll definitely consider going back next year.
I also found the crowd very alive. It was actually my first time where I voluntarily moved further back during a GD show because I got absolutely crushed. Have no memories from Burnout because I was struggeling so hard not to get pushed over and my friend got several shoes in her head from all the crowd surfers ? But it was still fun though. I loved it, it was pure fun. I've seen Frank Carter with the Rattlesnakes once before and expected him to be good and he did live up to it. I think he filled the role super well. Glad to hear you had a good time as well! Also agree with your thouhts on the festival in general. I was very pleasantly surprised. Loved the atmosphere. ?

I can imagine. It was so many crowdsurfers and a lot of movement in the crowd during their entire set. It's difficult to focus on the stage while you're trying to stay on your feet?. Glad you and your friend had a good time regardless. ??? I had barrier on Jason's side - not super close, sort of by the big screen, but I was glad I had something to hold unto.  Right! He brought so much energy and engaged with the crowd in a real good way. When he went into the pit was like "give me my mic stand please" I was like is he for real. ? It was real fun to watch. When Billie Joe went on stage with them it was the icing on the cake.  Same here ?. I'm not a fan of festivals and was suprised by how much I liked it. I was there from it opened and walked around the entire festival to see what it was about before I relaxed in the VIP ticket area - which also was pretty nice.  This is adorable ? Weezer made a sweet post about the festival too.
