  • Pop Matters: "...Green Day played there for $250, booking their own show because they had no agent..."
  • mackenzie: "My first real show was Green Day on their Kerplunk tour at The Outhouse in Lawrence, KS. I was 14 and had to get a ride."
  • Mark Deniszczuk: "Marc Sova just had a post about Bent and it reminded me that I found this old flyer online the other night (at the request of Mers). GREEN DAY/JUDGE NOTHING/BENT @ The Outhouse in Lawrence KS from the Kerplunk tour 1992."
  • Marc Sova: "And can't forget that Green Day pretty much used all of our equipment (maybe it was some of Bent's and Judge Nothing's) because theirs was all blown up. I remember driving down Interstate 70 and handing them a demo tape at 70 mile an hour. Tre, their drummer, was hanging out the window to his waist (in a day-glo green Joker from Batman style jumpsuit and pink hair no less). I thought he was gonna fall out and die and get the show cancelled."
