[pic=¡Tré! album cover]121012_tre.jpg[/pic]It is now December 11th and ¡Tré!, the final installment of the ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! trilogy from Green Day has been officially released to the world.

Places such as Rdio, iHeartRadio and NME have been streaming the album since last Tuesday for those who wanted to get an early listen to the album. And my goodness...we here at GDA were impressed.

Rolling Stone did listen to it early and has rated ¡Tré with 4/5 stars and had this to say about it:
It's telling that Green Day's effort to pare back after a decade of rock-opera ambitions led to a three-LP meditation on the meaning of rock music right now. On ¡Tré!, the references mount up: Iggy, the Who, the Clash, R.E.M., Bowie, the Stones and so on. Can everything that once seemed so vital really be receding into history? These three albums answer those concerns with a resounding No! No band this sprawling, untamable and sheer fun is going anywhere.

The album is currently available via online digital retailers, such as iTunes and Amazon for $9.99.

I am one of those who also listened to the album early, and I'm glad I did. I think it is by far the best in the trilogy. If you want a good mix of everything the band has done from nimrod. through American Idiot, this is your album, hands down.

The stand out tracks from this album include "Missing You," "X-Kid," "Sex, Drugs & Violence," the 6-and-a-half-minute "Dirty Rotten Bastards" and "99 Revolutions." If you're pressed for time, be sure to take a listen to those. And if you want one more, tune in to "Little Boy Named Train." Because it's my favorite, and I told you to.

For those of you who pre-ordered either the Ultimate Box Set or Digital Box Set, Warner is sending out emails with download links for the album at the time of this post. Haven't received one yet? Just be patient.
