After a few days of teasing on social media, Green Day has announced a 25th anniversary edition of Nimrod, slated for release on January 27th, 2023.

Alongside the 1997 album's 18 original tracks, this special edition contains an additional 34 songs: 14 demos and 20 live recordings from a November 14th, 1997 show in Philadelphia, PA.

The 14 demos include versions of songs that ended up making the album, released as b-sides, or on Shenanigans. However, there are some demos of songs never before released, including "You Irritate Me" which the band has released as a single today.
