Green Day's bassist Mike Dirnt is a "sole man." He is once again collaborating with shoe designer Macbeth on a new project:

Macbeth has once again teamed up with Mike Dirnt of Green Day for a Studio Project collaboration. You may remember Mike decided to donate all the proceeds from his Fall 2010 Studio Project to Soles4soles to help those affacted by the earthquake that devastated Haiti.

All the donations from purchases will go to a new charity known as the "National Military Family Association's Operation Purple."
The organization is described in the following:

"...created to empower military children and their families to develop and maintain healthy and connected relationships, in spite of the current military environment."

You can find out more information about the product (and read some stuff from Mike himself) at k!dult. If you're interested in buying, check out the online store.
