In the midst of Chanukah and with Christmas less than two weeks away we decided to start getting into the holiday spirt with this week's [turl=http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/tags/throwback-thursday/]#ThrowbackThursday[/turl].

This time last year Billie Joe and his wife Adrienne [turl=http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/2833/]made a video[/turl] in partnership with the NRDC promoting their "green gifts." The video features the couple talking about NRDCGreenGifts.org, a place for people to purchase gifts that help the environment.

Still looking for a last minute holiday gift? Take some advice from the Armstrong's and "give gifts that aren't the usual shit."
