This book is a rare promotion version of American Idiot in the style of a diary, most of the monologues from the musical came from here. There's another known version of the book going around that features the normal cover of the album. This version features a different cover than the original and has more content such as pictures and writing.

This version of the book is extremely rare and only comes around every so often. It's a must have for every Green Day fan.
