Green Day to play at the O2 Academy Brixton August 21st

[pic=Green Day live in London]081113_brixton.jpg[/pic]Just announced via Idiot Nation, Green Day are set to play the O2 Academy Brixton in London, England on August 21st. The show is scheduled for just a couple days before the band plays the Reading & Leeds festival on August 23rd and 24th.

The announcement on Twitter:

Green Day at London 02 Academy Brixton, August 21. Pre-sale tickets through Idiot Nation 9am local time tomorrow! Public onsale Wednesday!

As stated via the tweet, pre-sale tickets will be on-sale exclusively via Idiot Nation and it's members at "9am local time" on Monday, which I'm guessing means 09:00 in England (so in just a few hours). Tickets will be made available to the general public this Wednesday. No word yet as how to purchase these tickets.

The venue is somewhat of a smaller one, approximately able to hold 5,000 people. Regardless, tickets will most likely sell out VERY quickly.
