[newsImage]123109_carsondaly.jpg[/newsImage]Green Day is scheduled to perform tonight on New Year's Eve with Carson Daly, which will be on at 10pm on NBC.

My understanding is that tonights performance won't be live, but rather a special pre-taped performance which was filmed last month at the Nokia Center (that free concert which we [turl=http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/72/]posted about[/turl]).

There's no solid confirmation, but I'm pretty certain that's what's going on considering that concert was hosted by 'Last Call with Carson Daly'. Either way, it's a new performance for most. Once we get the video, we'll share it here.
