[img=021111_mike.jpg] Mike Dirnt and members of his side band, The Frustrators, sat down with KSRO radio to talk about their upcoming shows in the Bay Area. The interview lasts about 20 minutes and covers lots of ground. They talk about some early Green Day shows in the area, and Mike mentions that the Phoenix theater (where The Frustrators [turl=http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/2149/]will be playing[/turl] next week) is the last show John Kiffmeyer played with Green Day, after Tre had already joined the band.

They also open up the interview (3 minutes into the audio below) with some Frustrators music. It was a pretty good interview - it's always nice to hear Mike spend some time chatting it up.
