This week's Song of the Week is the brand-new Amy Winehouse tribute, Amy, one of sixteen new Green Day songs debuted on the 11th of this month at the 'secret' Green Day show in Costa Mesa, California. At that show, Billie Joe performed the song solo on guitar, with the lyrics written down on a piece of paper next to him, as he'd "just wrote it last week". The song is a simple, sad, and honest lament to the loss of such a young and extraordinarily talented life.

The show had a no-camera rule, so we don't have a high quality version of the song, but a pretty decent version was uploaded to YouTube (though it's not the full song). Another video of the song can be seen below
