[img=100711_vh1logo.jpg]Green Day's song American Idiot has been placed at number 13 in VH1's "Greatest Songs of the 00's" - this is for a TV special that has been airing on VH1 all this week, hosted by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.

Since tonight is the last night of the TV special, American Idiot is likely to be featured in the final countdown, so catch it if you can on VH1.

It's surprising that a couple of other Green Day tracks didn't make the list, such as Boulevard Of Broken Dreams and Wake Me Up When September Ends.
