[img=rollingstone.jpg]Rolling Stone has complied a list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, after asking a panel of music industry big wigs, band members and music experts for their opinions. Billie Joe and Tre were both part of the panel.

Green Day clock up two albums of the 500 with 2004's American Idiot at 225 and 1994's Dookie at 193. Number 1 is The Beatles with 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band'. Personally, I think things like this are a little difficult to quantify, regardless of album sales, everyone's opinion is different. Some people are going to think that Neil Diamond deserved to beat Green Day, others will feel very differently...
