"Green Day was forced to cancel their upcoming "secret" show after the city of Burbank denied them the necessary permits due to concerns over crowd control. The California city apparently doesn't agree with frontman Billie Joe Armstrong, who tweeted "There's no such thing as too many friends. Chaos = love" in reference to the band's free concert, which was planned for this Friday (June 22).
The anticipated turnout was in the thousands, and authorities worried that the number would swell and pose danger to concert-goers once the secret location was revealed."

Definitely a bummer, as many of us were excited to see what kind of show Green Day would perform with the build-up to the release of ¡Uno!. I'm sure the band will be working to play another show in the near future, but as far as I know, there are currently no plans.
