I remember the first time we came to Europe, in 1991, we had a tape of Nevermind playing in the van throughout that whole tour. I'd heard Bleach but I didn't really get it; to me it sounded like Aerosmith or something. But with Nevermind I think Nirvana finally delivered a classic album for that generation of people who listened to it. Other generations had their Beatles or their Pink Floyds, and finally we had something that was worthy of that status, but was also unique to us.
