[pic=Green Day live in 2012]022613_gd.jpg[/pic]According to FUSE, Green Day will be playing a few small shows prior to their appearance at SXSW next month.

The band is set to play a show in California, one in Arizona and one in Texas before they make their March 15th appearance at SXSW, which was announced yesterday.

The following have been announced:
- March 10: Fox Theater in (Pomona, CA)
- March 11: Marquee (Tempe, AZ)
- March 13: Tricky Falls (El Paso, TX)

Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 1st, at 10am local venue time. We will let you know how to purchase tickets once that information becomes available.
