Today are the American Music Awards. Green Day is not performing but they are up for some awards. The show starts at 8PM EST on ABC. Unfortunately I'll be leaving today and won't be able to post their acceptance speeches if they win anything, but when I get back I'm sure I'll find some to share.

Update: I have never gotten so many emails in such little time. Thanks to the hundreds of you that emailed me to correct me: Green Day did win two awards last night, one for best album in the pop rock catagory and Best Alternative Artist. These awards were not televised (which is why i wasn't aware of them). So I apologize for my previous post saying they didn't win.
