MTV Overdrive has posted a great interview with Green Day. They talk about everything from music videos to politics and even what Green Day is planning for the future. As far as a new album, Billie Joe said first they need some time off, time to "re-energize", then they'll probably head back to studio in January or February of next year and "take as long as possible" to get another album out. So even though there isn't a set date for a new album, I wouldn't expect one till late next year or even 2007. You guys can check out the entire interview here.

For those of you in the UK; Be sure to watch "Top of the Pops" this Sunday, November 6th, at 7PM. Green Day will be there to play "Jesus of Suburbia." Also, today are the MTV Europe Awards which Green Day are mentioned to perform at, as well as being nominated for 3 awards.
