Just announced last week, Green Day was nominated for several World Music Awards. The band was nominated for Best Album with ¡Dos!, Best Group, and Best Live Act.

Not sure when the voting ends or even when the winners are announced (the website doesn't give much information). If I hadn't heard of the award before, I would have thought it wasn't anything official.
