[pic=VINE | VEIN label]100213_rsz_v2v-label-image2.jpg[/pic]A couple of days ago, Mike Dirnt posted a picture on Instagram with the caption, "Bottled 70 cases of my wine. 2010 Vine|Vein #TuscanyToNapa" Until less than a week ago, Mike also chronicled his vacation to Italian Tuscany (some of the greatest wine country on earth) on Instagram as well. We aren't sure exactly where, when, or how Mike's new brand VINE | VEIN came about, but it appears that Mike found the time!

VINE | VEIN was produced by the Napa Valley, CA company, Page Wine Cellars. The wine comes in both 2010 and 2009 vintages. Are you of legal drinking age, and thinking you'd like to try a bottle? For a cool $450, you can! A 1.5-liter bottle of 2010 vintage will cost you that amount. For the same price, there are also etched and hand-painted gold bottles available. But, if this simply is not good enough for your taste, you can upgrade to a huge 3-liter bottle of 2009 vintage wine, also etched and hand-painted in gold, for $900. According to the number of cases, 70, that Mike included in his Instagram post, there are less than 500 bottles of his wine available for purchase.

Although I sadly won't be able to find out for myself if VINE | VEIN lives up to its price tag, I that Mike knows his wine! If you're planning on buying a bottle, let us know how it tastes!
