PolicyMic.com has put together a list of the 10 most romantic punk songs of all time. Green Day's "At the Library," off of 1990's 39/Smooth and 1991's 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, makes the list at number nine.
Way back in the old days, before Green Day became the symbol of all things Punk hates (well, most things), the group released this quaint little number about a boy who's just not quite brave enough to approach his crush. It's a timeless tale that rings truer than any of the empty political statements of the band's more recent years.
Sounds like the person who put together this list isn't a fan of newer Green Day...

Other bands that made the list include The Ramones, The Clash, and The Buzzcocks, and others. The full top 10 list can be seen over on PolicyMic.com.

Judging by the other bands in this list, Green Day should have named themselves "The Green Days."
