Coming in at #22, "J.A.R." was featured on the soundtrack of the 1995 film "Angus."

The track was recorded during Green Day's Dookie recording sessions but never made it onto the album. Released as a single in August of 1995, "J.A.R." climbed to #1 on Billboard's Modern Rock chart and spent 16 weeks on the chart.

More recently, the track was included on Green Day's 2011 live album Awesome As Fuck.
