This week for #ThrowbackThursday we're taking you back to May of 2009, right before Green Day released their eighth studio album 21st Century Breakdown.
In preparation for the release, the band was playing a selection of club shows and special radio station gigs around the world. The performance below was recorded at a show for NRJ Radio in Paris on May 12th. The 47 minute recording takes you though most of 21st Century Breakdown and then closes off with "American Idiot."
