New Green Day song titled "Bang Bang" premiering August 11th

Green Day is back!
This evening, radio station 93.3 WMMR out of Philadelphia mentioned on air, and later separately confirmed to GDA, that they will be premiering a new Green Day song called "Bang Bang" on the morning of Thursday, August 11th.
The station mentioned that the song will likely play during the station's morning show Preston & Steve, but that is subject to change.
It is likely that the song will be premiering on other stations around the US (and world) at that same time the morning of August 11th so stay tuned to your local rock station.
At the moment, we don't know anything about the song other than its title and scheduled premiere date. Between now and that date, I'm sure we will hear much more about the song and the band's upcoming album.
