It was announced a couple days ago that Billie Joe and Tré have partnered with music instrument marketplace Reverb.com to sell over 100 pieces of gear, they have collected and used throughout their career. Check out the video below where Billie and Tré talk about the some of the gear that will be featured:

The band’s online Reverb shop, launches on February 7th, will house items from each band member, including myriad guitars, drum sets, studio gear, and amps., many of which have been played on tour or in the studio. Tré said "I hope whoever buys this stuff gets some enjoyment out of it… rocking it on their stage or putting it in their studio. I really hope they just don’t sit around and get dusty" and we agree. and we agree. Place a bid and make it so!

Several of the items from the official Green Day Reverb Shop can be viewed before the launch.

Some notable items that will be available include:

  • speaker cabinets still marked from the mud-fight at Woodstock ‘94

  • The 2011 TV Yellow Gibson Les Paul Junior Guitar that Billie Joe smashed during the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival (it has been put back together, and is playable).

  • A Leedy White Marine Pearl Drum Kit and Snare Drum that was used on the 21st Century Breakdown tour. One of only four made.

  • A rare 1958 Gibson Les Paul Gold Top Guitar – not only one of Billie Joe’s favorites to play live but also used at Longshot and Coverups gigs.

  • An Ayotte Green Stain Maple Drum Kit that was used live throughout the Insomniac tour in 1995.

  • We aren't sure of an exact start time for the listings yet, but you can give Reverb.com your email to be notified when the fun begins.
