We really hate doing these types of posts, but sometimes they're required. Our site runs on advertising and help from our visitors. Until last month advertising was really slow and didn't earn more than the site cost to run, so a couple times this year we've had to ask for help. With the announcement of the new album things are picking up, but unfortunately we don't see that income right away.
