While Green Day were in Spain for the MTV EMAs, they were interviewed by Spanish radio station LOS40. The interview is short but fun, with the band being shown three famous Spanish figures - Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, King Felipe and bullfighter Jesulín de Ubrique... but they didn't recognise any of them! Tré thought the bullfighter was Antonio Banderas. It also features Billie Joe over-filling a water glass. You can watch the video on LOS40's website.

Here's a translation of their article:
We had no doubt. Green Day would spend more than one night partying in our country. The most important punk pop band of the nineties passed through our country and we couldn't miss the opportunity to talk to them.

Despite enjoying Spain, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool didn't pass our basic knowledge test. We tested them to see if they recognised some of the most iconic figures we have. We began with Pedro Sánchez, who they recognised as a room service member. Nor did they know King Felipe... and they dared to say they also have a king, clearly referring to Trump, their president, who they've always been very critical of. But the best, without a doubt, was the moment Jesulín de Ubrique was confused with one of our most famous actors: Antonio Banderas.

The band played a show in Madrid, where a few lucky fans could enjoy an intimate night celebrating 25 years of Dookie by playing it in full, in addition to their greatest hits.
