[newsImage]062310_kerrangawards.jpg[/newsImage]Green Day has been nominated this year for two Kerrang awards, the award for 'Best Live Band' and 'Best International Band'. In the competition Green Day is up against acts including 30 Seconds To Mars, Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Paramore, and Bullet For My Valentine.

In the past Green Day has won the award for 'Classic Songwriter' at the 2001 Kerrang awards.

The awards will be held at a "top secret" location in London on July 29 and you can vote over on Kerrang.com by clicking here.
