Green Day Earn Two Nominations For 2025 Heavy Metal Awards

Here's something a bit unexpected. Green Day have scored two nominations for the 2025 Heavy Metal Awards.

The band have been nominated for Best International Live Artist along with Bad Omens, Knocked Loose, Poppy, Electric Callboy, Linkin Park, and Spiritbox. They're also up for Best International Live Artist alongside Electric Callboy, Korn, Gojira, Motionless in White, The Warning, and Spiritbox.

Vote for your favorites at heavymusicawards.com. Voting closes at 5 PM BST on Friday, April 25, 2025.

The 2025 Heavy Metal Awards ceremony will take place at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on Thursday, August 21st.

You seem to be able to vote more than once but do have to vote in all the categories.

So let‘s keep voting! I‘ve already voted twice, although having to vote in all categories is a bit annoying. I‘m voting for artists I’ve never heard of… ? (Except for Bring Me The Horizon who I actually like.)
