Green Day was honored with a star of the Hollywood walk of fame on May 1st, 2025. Rob Cavallo, who has produced most of the band's albums, joined Green Day, as well as family and friends, for the ceremony. Ryan Reynolds introduced the band.

During his speech, Mike Dirnt said
