Billie Joe Armstrong joins Dua Lipa on stage for 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'
Did anyone see this coming? During Dua Lipa's recent show at San Francisco's Chase Center, Billie Joe Armstrong joined as a special guest for a duet performance of "Wake Me Up When September Ends."
Introducing the song, Dua Lipa said, "I love this band for so many different reasons. I love it because of the rawness, the authenticity the message behind it, the space that it holds for people who feel like sometimes they might not belong. I loved listening to this album [American Idiot] in particular when I was little. I'd put the CD in the Walkman and just kind of sing my heart out."
Check out their performance below.
