WEB UPDATES
Hey guys. So Green Day was seen at the M&M's Color Party? Wow, they must either love M&M's...or the party must have lots of booze. *shrugs* I don't know, read about it at Yahoo! News. Did anyone get the new Tribute album? If so let me know how it is, I didn't get to Best Buy to get it yet. Apps for webmasters and tabbers are now officially closed (please don't e-mail me anymore). I'll make my final descisions and let the people know. Wanna see something cool? Click here to check out some Green Day figurines. Thanks Joe. Man, I have tons of stuff for Didja Know? and wallpapers, hopefully I'll get to update those pages this weekend. And here's a word from Mike, our old tabber.
Courtney, I'm writing this in response to my beyond obvious question rising
absense- first and foremost I would like to apologize to all of you Green Day
fans! It's been a long ride for all of us myself especially. I wanted to help
pass along Green Day's powerful music by using my guitar playing skills to make
tabs for the less advanced players, and even advanced ones looking for a tab
reference. So I just wanted to apologize for not fulfilling my duty to do that
for you guys, I'm sorry! Now I'd also like to apologize to Courtney and Matt who
have been doing an incredible job with the site. I guess these guys deserve an
explanation. Lately I've been overwhealmingly busy with everything, mainly my band
in between jobs to be able to financially support the band. We're called FOURSET
CABS now and are recording our first ever E.P. spring break in April... now I'm
not looking for an easy way to advertise my band, I just figure after being MIA
for so long you guys reserve the right to see what I was up to. We don't have a
site yet but if you email me at [email protected] I will be sure to send u mp3's
pics show dates, etc... I hope I can be forgiven through this formal apology, I'd
just like to say to the GDA staff tho, can send in specifically requested tabs
to GDA it's just that I'm completely unable to manage the entire tabs
section... there is only so much one can do with the section so may I suggest
Matt or Courtney manage it themselves and just accept send-ins of tabs. GDA has
been good to me and theyre looking for staff section fills, help them out and
join.
