Sharon Mitchell: "We toured Benicia, taking in the places where Green Day played some of their first gigs - the House of Toast..."
Jack Curran: "I remember playing with them at the House of Toast [in] Benicia when they were called Green Day. All private nights, no room for anyone else. It was not a show [at] our house, [but a] very private guitar 'jam.' Showing each other new songs we were working on."
Todd Pritchard: "This one is not a show, the House Of Toast was too small for shows. It was actually a former office, not a house. Bands practiced there. This session was Billie Joe, Mike, and Jeff Ott all playing acoustic guitars while Jack Curran watched. Paul Curran (who paid rent on the building, $33 a month), said that Pinhead Gunpowder may have practiced here as well."
