Simon Hayes: "I went to see Green Day at the Cambridge Junction in 1994 just before they became really well-known in this country! Their music at that time got me through my exams nicely! At that same gig, I ended up jumping around to the support band (China Drum) with Tre Cool - and didn't realise who he was until I saw him on the drums later!"
