acidica: "Today's poster is from the first time I saw Green Day in concert in 1995. This show was at the Edmonton Coliseum with The Riverdales opening. Green Day were touring for their Insomniac album. What I recall from this show was that it was super short. I had a couple friends show up later thinking they would just miss the opening act but ended up missing Green Day as well. Green Day only played for like 45 minutes which is quite short for a headlining band, and they had enough music out at that time to play for longer then that. The show was good, just way too short. But then, back in 1995 Green Day was considered punk and I guess that's what punk bands do, play short energetic shows."
