Very exciting week ahead of us, Idiots. This Thursday Green Day are playing their first concert in over a year at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. More info about the show can be found on the tour page. Fans over on our forum are pretty excited, and if you're going, you should keep up with this topic. Even if you're not going, you really should keep up with that topic. It's kind of become the central planning & information place about this whole thing.

Two days later, Saturday April 18th, Green Day will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Green Day is being inducted the first year they're eligible, which is pretty badass. They'll be inducted alongside artists like Ringo Starr, The "5" Royales, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Lou Reed, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Bill Withers.

Green Day is being inducted by Fall Out Boy. Green Day themselves have been a part of two inductions - The Ramones in 2002 (watch their performance) and Guns n Roses in 2012 (read Billie Joe's speech at that event).

If you're in Cleveland and can't attend the induction in person, you can still watch it live at the Rock Hall viewing party. Otherwise, you'll have to wait till it airs on HBO May 30th.

We'll keep you guys posted with everything we can here and on our social media. For the latest news follow us on Twitter @GDA and like us on Facebook. If there's anything you think we need to post, use the Submit News form.

GDA staff Matt and Jack will be in Cleveland for the festivities so if you see them around, be sure to say hi!
