As Matt [turl=http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/768/]posted earlier[/turl], Billie Joe was participating in the Stand Up 2 Cancer event being held across all major networks in the US tonight. Money raised goes directly to help collaborative cancer research.

Billie Joe played "Wake Me Up When September Ends", solo, on his electric guitar. The song, many of you will recall, was one of the first Billie had written for his dad, who died of esophageal cancer 28 years ago.
