We've known since the idea was announced last year that Green Day would be coming back to tour the US a second time in 2010. However, no one was sure on an exact timeline. An update on Twitter from the official account, @greenday (it didn't say what band member wrote the tweet), confirmed that they will be back here this summer.

I assume dates will come along sometime this spring.
