Absolute Radio interview with Billie Joe from last August

Here's something that went relatively unnoticed. Absolute Radio interviewed Billie Joe late last year, right before Green Day played Shepherds Bush Empire in London on August 23rd.
This video was uploaded to YouTube just a couple months ago in March of this year, but has gone unnoticed by us until now. We're posting about it because it's a damn good interview where Billie Joe talks quite a bit about the trilogy, mainly how the project came together and how the tracks got chosen. Billie Joe also talks a little bit about the roots of "Fuck Time" and the future of Foxboro Hot Tubs.

When I wrote "Fuck Time," it was intended to be a Foxboro Hot Tubs song, but we liked it so much we so much we were like 'We should just make it a Green Day song.' Why give it to a few people when you can say something that ridiculous to the masses? [Foxboro] is mostly just a live thing we do now. In reality, Foxboro is just a Green Day record.
