'Broadway Idiot' to air on Showtime May 8th

[pic=Broadway Idiot]101113_broadway.jpg[/pic]Broadway Idiot, the documentary that chronicles Billie Joe's involvement in the American Idiot Musical, is set to air on Showtime in May.

The film is set to air on Showtime in the US Thursday, May 8th at 8:00pm ET.

From punk rock mosh pits and sold-out stadiums to the Great White Way, this electrifying documentary goes behind the scenes to follow Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong as he transforms his mega-hit album, 'American Idiot,' into a staged Broadway musical. A unique window into the art of theater, as rock stars and stage stars collide.

After the film's airing, it will be available on-demand from Showtime until July of this year.

Broadway Idiot was released late last year and is available to purchase or rent on iTunes and Amazon (digital and physical).
