[pic=Green Day introducing Broadway Idiot last year at SXSW]100913_broadwayidiot.jpg[/pic]WIth only [turl=http://www.greendayauthority.com/news/4541/]two more days[/turl] until Green Day's "Broadway Idiot" documentary has it's official opening in New York City , Broadway Idiot has announced a few special guests who will be joining in on the Q&A sessions for the 7:20 and 9:45 screenings.

On opening night, Friday October 11th, Doug Hamilton (director of Broadway Idiot), Michael Mayer (director of American Idiot) and John Gallagher Jr (Johnny) for a Q&A session after the 7:20pm screening and Doug Hamilton will give an introduction to the movie at the 9:45 screening. On Saturday night, Doug Hamilton, Michael Mayer, Rebecca Naomi Jones (Whatsername) and Christine Sajous (Extraordinary Girl) for a Q&A after the 7:20pm screening. Doug will then again give an introduction to the 9:45pm screening.

Tickets are still available to all of the screenings at the Village East Cinema so be sure to scoop them up fast, especially to the 7:20 and 9:45 screenings, before they sell out!

Additionally, if you aren't able to make it to one of Friday or Saturday's screenings, Broadway Idiot will also be screening at the CBGB Festival tomorrow night. The festival just released more tickets to the screening on the Landmark Sunshine's website.

I had the honor of seeing the film back in July and it truly is an amazing documentary and I highly recommend for any Green Day or Broadway fan. Seeing the world of Green Day combine with Broadway is an awe-inspiring journey. I will be at most of the screenings over the weekend so I hope to see a bunch of you guys there!
