Rolling Stone lists Green Day in "50 Greatest live acts right now" at number 48

[pic=Green Day listed at #48 by Rolling Stone]080513_billieJoe_live.jpg[/pic]Rolling Stone has included Green Day in their list of the 50 Best Greatest Live Acts, giving the band their spot at number 48 on the list.

Green Day have eleven albums under their belt, and they walk onstage each night prepared to play practically any track from that deep catalog. They also aren't afraid of arena rock bombast, embracing pyro, confetti cannons and classic rock covers like "Highway to Hell."

Showstopper: Billie Joe Armstrong brings a fan onstage every night to play guitar on "Longview." Even when they can't play a note it's still an absolute riot.

I'll respect their decision to put Bruce Springsteen in the #1 position - but putting Skrillex, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce ahead of Green Day? Hmm....
