The North American leg of the Saviors Tour began in Washington D.C. last night! A thunderstorm cut short Rancid's set and Billie Joe stopped the show during Whatsername so an injured fan could get help, but by all accounts it was a fantastic show regardless.

There's a good review by USA Today. The highlight of it has to be this:

"Armstrong, his raccoon tail of a coif bouncing with his nonstop guitar strikes, implored the crowd to 'put your hands up' several times in between landing his staccato delivery on Dookie favorites Longview, When I Come Around and Basket Case."
