[pic=Green Day performing last year]102812_billie_live.jpg[/pic]Earlier today, a California radio DJ announced that Green Day will be playing in Berkely, CA on April 16th at the Berkeley Greek Theater. The show was then later confirmed by GreenDay.com and Best Coast was announced as the supporting act.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, February 15th at 12pm on Ticketmaster for $50.

Looking to get your tickets a little early? APE Concerts is holding a pre-sale for the concert this Thursday, February 14th at 12pm. The pre-sale code for the show is "cuatro." The Idiot Club has also said that they will have a separate pre-sale for the show as well.

Currently this is Green Day's only west coast date of their tour. Hopefully this means that Green Day will continue to announce more west coast dates in April before the band heads overseas in May.
