Happy 4th of July! - Tre gets runner up, Spin honors Green Day

To all of you in the US, Happy Independence Day!. Hope you all have a great time this weekend doing whatever it is you're going to do to celebrate. I think I'll be going to watch the city's fireworks show tonight.

Tre Cool landed as a Runner Up in Drum Magazine's "Best Punk Drummer", but the title did go to Travis Barker. Full list of nominees here.

Spin Magazine dubbed Green Day "Artists of the Year for Life" (article here), along with Eric Clapton and Melissa Etheridge. Click this link for the full magazine online.
