Therefore, he can only imagine what growing up must have been like for her (based on what he experienced). This girl has made the transition from 'drama queen' (youth) to grown-up, and is struggling. She is 'old enough to bleed now,' and is on the verge of 'going psycho.' The narrator is able empathize with her, and shows a degree of concern for her well-being."
