The new editorial titled "Are We? We Are?" is available to read. This article, written by Cheryl, talks about the anticipation we have while waiting for the new material, and also talks about Billie Joe's ability as a songwriter to connect to just a diverse group of people through his style. You can click the link above to read it, and visit the editorial section for other articles.

And with that, I'd like to welcome Alex to our team. He's joining as an editor for the site, starting off by working with the authors to build up the editorial section. Very excited to have him on board, and hopefully give him more work.

Kerrang Magazine writes a blurb about the biggest albums coming in 2009, of course Green Day is mentioned. They mention that the expected release is in April, which sounds fine with the general timeline that the band has said, "Around spring." We still don't have an official release date yet, but I think it' safe to assume it'll be in the first half of this year. [Thanks to die_in_tradgedy on the forum for posting the info and scan]
