Contactmusic.com has included Green Day's new song "Amy" in a list of artists who've shown tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse.

Green Day debuted the song "Amy" at their surpise show in Costa Mesa, California in August 2011. After the show Billie Joe wrote this on GreenDay.com

I really hope we'll get a high quality recording of this from the band. It's such a wonderful song.

The Contact Music article focuses on a new song by Patti Smith, but lists some other bands who have paid tribute to Winehouse such as Coldplay, M.I.A. and Dionne Broomfield.
