Today marks eighteen years since the release of Green Day's major label breakthrough album, Dookie. This album was one that introduced many fans to Green Day's music and has been critically acclaimed as their best work up until the band's 2004 release, American Idiot.

To this day, Dookie is still Green Day's most sold album with 15million copies sold world wide as of 2010.
